  The Lawrence KS Sertoma Club closes its Meeting with the Members

reciting the first Paragraph of the Sertoma International Code of Ethics:

“I affirm my allegiance to God and my country.

I believe in its everlasting endurance through law and order.”

SERVICE  TO  MANKIND  AWARD

Purpose:  Recognize outstanding community service by a non-Sertoman.  This is Sertoma’s number one recognition award for a VOLUNTEER who does not hold membership in a Sertoma Club.  Selection for the award by the SERvice TO MAnkind Committee is based on the service provided by the Volunteer to the community.

Eligibility:  Any individual, man or woman, except Members of Sertoma and their spouses.

Award:  The Recipient is presented an engraved Plaque by the Lawrence Sertoma Club at the SERvice TO MAnkind Dinner held typically in the month of April.

SERTOMAN  OF  THE  YEAR  AWARD

 

Purpose:   Recognize a member of the Sertoma Club for exceptional contributions to the Club in the spirit of SERvice TO MAnkind.  The Sertoman of Year Award is the top recognition that a Club can give to one of its Members.  The award is based on the Member’s contributions to Sertoma and the community.   Selection for the Award by the Committee is based on the Member’s…... Club Activities, Leadership, Personal involvement in community activities and other noteworthy activities.

 

Award:   The Recipient is presented an engraved Plaque by the Lawrence Sertoma Club at the Installation of Officers Dinner in the month of June.
